1. Apologies for absence.

2. Declaration of Interest: Members are requested to declare any personal and/or prejudicial interests they may have in matters to be considered at this meeting in accordance with the terms of the Local Authorities (Model Code of Conduct) (England) Order 2001 issued under Section 51 Local Government Act 2000 as follows:

3. Minutes of the Council Meeting held on Tuesday 13th September 2005.

a) 1/05/17518/F Planning Permission (full) Refurbishment and conversion of existing two storey building to form annexe.

Presentation of playing fields accounts. (Income & expenditure account circulated previously to Councillors)

8. Excess lighting on the Playing fields (Cllr. Dr. Penney) Decision?

9. Letters from residents regarding noise/vandalism on the playing field.

10. Town Hall
The need to bring Town Hall up to Health and Safety standards.
(i) Emergency exit directions and lighting.
(ii) smoke alarms
(iii)Any work required for electrical certificate.

10. Laburnum Alley
Consideration of quotes for tarmac on section at the rear of Oak Meadow.

11. Improvements to Highways and Pavements scheme originally devised by Joe Roberts.

12. Shropshire Fire and Rescue
Completion of the Consultation Questionnaire on the draft IRMP Action Plan 2006/7 (Fire Service advice being sought) Decision

13. Renewal of street lighting contract
Street lighting contract with Cllr. Blundell should have been renewed in April.
Cllr. Blundell is agreeable to no change. Decision

14. Request for £400 for Christmas lights by the Christmas Lights Festival Committee. The Committee wish to make a special feature of the Town Hall.

15. Working party required to clear cupboard under the stairs.
It is proposed to clear all the rubbish out from under the stairs, put down floor covering and store chairs in it. A new padlock will be put on the door.

16. Old Market Place (Cllr. Wright)
Request by local residents to tidy up planted areas. What is the best form of planting? Decision

17. Annual Meetings.
Following the recent meeting to discuss Mayors Sunday the following dates are suggest for 2006.
Annual Town Meeting - 14th March 2006
Private meeting of Councillors - Before the Council meeting on Tuesday
25th April.
Annual Council Meeting - Tuesday 9th May
Mayors Sunday - Sunday 14th or 21st May (Depending on availability of church)
(The Annual Town Meeting must be between 1st March and 31st May. The Annual Council meeting has to be in May.) Decision

18. Commercial vehicles in Oak Meadow. (Cllr. Magill)
Complaints about the way commercial vehicles are parked in Oak Meadow.
Suggestion of a letter to the Housing Association. Decision

19. Sign for Welsh Street Gardens. (Cllr. Dr. Penney)
There have been problems reported with post for Welsh Street going to Welsh Street Gardens. Decision

20. Request for a grant of £195 for Crowgate Child Centre to help with the move to the Primary School site. Decision

21. Consultation on the new planning policy system Information

22. Shropshire County Council Children's Information Service
Do Councillors know of any community groups that may be being missed by the Children's Information Service. Discussion
