GIVEN THAT A MEETING OF THE BISHOP'S CASTLE TOWN COUNCIL WILL BE HELD IN THE
TOWN HALL ON TUESDAY 19th JULY 2005 AT 8.00 P.M.

1. Apologies for absence.
2. Declaration
of Interest: Members are requested to declare any personal and/or prejudicial
interests they may have in matters to be considered at this meeting in accordance
with the terms of the Local Authorities (Model Code of Conduct) (England)
Order 2001 issued under Section 51 Local Government Act 2000 as follows:

the Council Meeting held on Tuesday 21st June 2005.

9. Town Hall
Restoration
There will be a meeting to discuss work on the Town Hall on Tuesday 2nd August
at 7.30 pm. All Councillors welcome.
The following have been approved at previous meetings but it is suggested
they are re-affirmed.
a) A Project Officer is appointed to manage (i) Repair of the roof.
(ii) Opening up of the Venetian window
(iii) Repair of the sandstone mouldings.
(Not Wheatley Lines)
b) A structural Engineer is appointed to investigate the cistern.

10. Road Closure
outside the Town Hall
Council approval requested for a letter of complaint to Enterprise on account
of the following:
a) No notice given to residents and shopkeepers of road closure.
b) No notice given to residents and shopkeepers of planned power cut on Monday
21st June.
c) No temporary access provided for the Town Hall and Clocks and Pots. (pictures

Toilets
Update on information on the running of the toilets. Council approval requested
on the following:-
a) Take over date 1st October 2005.
b) The Cleaner to be paid for 6 hours per week. (At present 11 hours for both
sets of toilets)
c) Andrew Broome to be employed on a three month probationary period.
d) The cleaners rate of pay be £5.50 per hour the same as the street
cleaner.
e) Holiday entitlement. (A relief cleaner would be required) Decision
