2. Declaration of Interest: Members are requested to declare any personal and/or prejudicial interests they may have in matters to be considered at this meeting in accordance with the terms of the Local Authorities (Model Code of Conduct) (England) Order 2001 issued under Section 51 Local Government Act 2000 as follows:

7. BISHOP'S CASTLE PARISH CHURCH.
a) Permission to use Market Square on Sunday 1st April 2007 for Palm Sunday Procession and Friday 6th April 2007 - Good Friday. Decision
b) Application for street closure order for Palm Sunday Procession and Midsummer Rejoicing procession at the following times.
(i) Sunday 1 April 2007 from 10.30 am to 11.00 am.
Market Square, High Street, Church Street.
(ii) Sunday 24 June 2007 from 10.30 am to 11.00 am
Union Street, Market Square, High Street and Church Street.
(iii) Sunday 24 June 2007 from 12 noon to 12.30 pm.

8. STREET LIGHTING REPAIRS
Prysmian have been very unsatisfactory in repairing our street lights.
VW Electrics Ltd has suggested the following agreement.
a) No contract required.
b) Will repair lights within five working days.
c) Will halve the call out charge if with we have joint call out with Craven Arms.
Should we change to V. W. Electrics for our repairs. Decision

9. SKATEBOARDING ASSOCIATION
Request for £500 annual funding for new financial year as agreed in March 2003.

10. ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
Suggestion that the Mayor/Councillors give a short presentation at this meeting on what is involved in being a Councillor to encourage more people to stand as Councillors. Decision

11. SALT BIN AND LITTER BIN
Request for salt bin and litter bin at the junction of the Ridge and Woodbatch Road. Decision

12. LAND ALONGSIDE THE FOOTPATH FROM GRANGE ROAD TO WOODBATCH ROAD
Request for this piece of land to be tidied up. Should Council take over the management of this piece of land? Decision

13. KEMP VALLEY GROUP
a) Request to give a presentation to the Town Council on the suggested Pyrolysis Gasification Incinerator in the Kemp Valley. Decision
b) Request for free use of the Town Hall for an awareness meeting on the suggested Pyrolysis Gasification Incinerator. Decision

14. REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
a) Dial a ride.
b) South Shropshire Furniture Scheme Decision

15. WELSH STREET GARDENS
Letter of complaint about parking, lighting and various other matters in Welsh Street Gardens. Decision

16. GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE AND APPRAISAL PROCEDURE.
Approval of Town Council grievance procedure and appraisal procedure for the Clerk. (To be sent before the meeting.) Decision

17. REVISED MODEL CODE OF CONDUCT FOR AUTHORITY MEMBERS.
The Mayor will summarise but the whole document can be found on www.communities.gov.uk Decision

18. TOWN CRIER. - Cllr. Hird
Mike Shanahan, Bishop's Castle Town Crier has been awarded Town Crier of the Year 2007. Suggestion that Council offer for the 2008 convention to be held in Bishop's Castle. Decision
Would Council like our Town Crier to come to the next meeting to explain what he has been doing as a Town Crier representing Bishop's Castle? Decision

19. NEWSLETTER - Cllr. Hird
Request for the flyer on Bishop's Castle Community Hospital to be distributed with the next Council newsletter. Decision

20. BOERS HEAD CROSSROADS - Cllr. Hird
Should any action be taken on the new traffic arrangements at the Boers head crossroads. Decision

21. BISHOP'S CASTLE CARNIVAL 2007
Request for free use of the playing fields on Sunday 1st July 2007 Decision.
