8. STREET CLOSURE ORDERS.
A request from the Parochial Church of St John the Baptist. Street closures in the Market Square for Sunday April 5th 2009, 10.00-10.30, and on Friday 10th April, 12 noon -12.15 for a short service. Decision
9.REQUEST FROM CARNIVAL COMMITTEE FOR USE OF PLAYING FIELD.
The Carnival Committee request the Council’s permission to use the playing field for the Carnival on July 5th 2009. Decision
10.LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK(LDF): BROWN FIELD SITES.
The draft LDF supports housing development on brown field sites. In smaller towns and settlements including Bishop’s Castle, brown field sites could be taken to include gardens. What is the Council’s response. Decision
11. A REQUEST FOR A GRANT FROM LIGHT FOOT COMPANY.
To consider this request in the light of information provided. Decision
12. A REQUEST FOR DONATION FROM CRUCIAL CREW.
Bridgnorth and South Shropshire Crucial Crew request £135.00, that is £5.00 for every child from Bishop’s Castle (27) participating in this event. Decision
13.PARKING ON CHURCH STREET AND STATION ST. BISHOPS CASTLE.
To consider parking problems still affecting buses on Station St. and to address concerns from a shopkeeper on Church St. Decision
14. GRITTING IN BISHOPS CASTLE.
Should the Town Council seek to take over the gritting of local pathways and pavements in the future. Decision
