7. REPORT BY COUNTY AND DISTRICT COUNCILLORS
8.LAND AT KERRY GREEN, BISHOP’S CASTLE.
South Shropshire Housing Association would like the Town Council’s agreement to proceed with the transfer of this piece of land. Decision
9. REPRESENTATION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL AT THE BIOMASS INQUIRY.
Does the Town Council agree to merge with the Bishop’s Castle Group at the coming Inquiry to form a united front. Decision
10 ROSPA INSPECTION FOR OAK MEADOW PLAY AREA.
Should the Council ask ROSPA to inspect the small Oak Meadow play area when we finally take it over. Decision
11. PHOTO-VOLTAIC CELLS FOR THE TOWN HALL ROOF.
Should the Council look into the cost and feasibility of photo-voltaic cells. Decision
12.ADVERTS FOR THE NEWSLETTER.
The clerk has prepared a “directory” style for the adverts, does the Council want to move to this style, and what cost would the Council suggest. Decision
13. COUNTY-WIDE MARKET TOWNS PARTNERSHIP.
14. BISHOP’S CASTLE ABATTOIR.
1) The Town Council has been asked to approach the South Shropshire District Council for some disbursement funds on behalf of the purchasers of the abattoir.
2) Should the Town Council buy shares in the abattoir. Decision
15. THE NEW MODEL PUBLICATION SCHEME. INFORMATION ONLY.
From January 09 all Councils have to adopt a new scheme, the template for which will be available from January.
16.REPLACEMENT OF LIGHT AND BRACKET OUTSIDE SHELSLEY CASTLE ST.
This light has been out for 6 months. The contractors recommend this replacement at a cost of £249.36. This would also involve the cost from e-on to remove the supply and fit a double pole isolator so that a new light can be connected. Decision
