Prior to the meeting at 7.45pm James Thompson, Waste Prevention Officer, Shropshire Council will give a presentation about the Zero Waste initiative.

i) To receive an update on the status of land at the Business Park including the request for extra land for the allotments

6. TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT:

a) To consider response to: -

09/02842/FUL Erection of extension to dwelling (revised scheme) at Longhope, the Cabin Bishops Castle SY9 5JG

b) To receive notification of appeal to Planning Inspectorate - The Bakery, Church Street Bishops Castle.

c) Reports of Planning Applications.

9. REPAIR OF RAILINGS AROUND THE COPPER BEECH TREE AT THE JUNCTION OF CASTLE STREET AND WELSH STREET

To consider a request for funding for repairs to the railings. Decision
10. PLANTERS IN THE TOWN

To consider the future of the planters in the town Decision

11. SOUTH SHROPSHIRE YOUTH FORUM LEADER FUNDING APPLICATION

To consider a request for the Town Council’s support for the South Shropshire Youth Forum’s application for Leader funding to enable them to carry out environmental projects with young people in Bishops Castle

Following a fall sustained by a member of the public to consider what action needs to be taken.

To agree the disposal of the Digital camera owned by the Town Council

To agree that a request be made to Shropshire Council that they install gates or barriers at the back of the toilets in the Auction Yard

15. SIGNAGE ON B4358

To consider a request from the Bishop's Castle P3 Group that the Council ask Shropshire Council to put "No footway " signs on the B4358 on the BC side of the Lagden Lane junction and some 20 yards on the BC side of The Cottage Farm.
