Guests at the farm can
visit the nearest towns of Clun or Bishops Castle. Clun
is a picturesque town with its own castle which hosts
weekend events including its famous Green Man Day and
Carnival. More information on these events can be found
on the Bishops Castle web site. Bishop's Castle is a small market
and traditional town known for its many weekend festivals
including a Walking Festival, Michaelmas Fair, Christmas
Lights Festivals, Music and Art Events, Agricultural Show
and Carnival.
South Shropshire is one of the last undiscovered areas of
Britain. Historic Ludlow with its medieval castle, annual
shakespearan festival , the longmynd and Church Stretton
and the unique fortified manor house of Stokesay as well
as Ironbridge- birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.
Over the border into Wales are Montgomery and Powis
Castle, the latter famed for its house and gardens.
