This comfortable 18th Century former stone farm house can be found in Chapel Lawn in the hidden Redlake Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is ten miles from Bishops Castle and five miles from both Clun and Knighton. There are plenty of good walks nearby and it is within easy walking distance of the Caer Caradoc Iron-age hill fort, the final outpost of King Caractus before he was defeated by the Romans.
2 double en-suite rooms and one smaller room with shared bathroom. Satellite TV in bedrooms and free internet access. Panelled parlour with log burner in inglenook. Lovely gardens to relax in. Breakfasts are large and good and we will do evening meals by arrangement for walkers, cyclists and riders who can't easily get to a pub.
B&B £32.50 Fri/Sat/Sun, £30 other days. Evening meals - see above. Well behaved dogs by arrangement. Not especially suitable for small children. Grazing for horses nearby. Secure storage for bikes.
Open Easter to end October.
