Relaxed family run rural campsite on a 28 acre smallholding surrounded by glorious views of South Shropshire’s beautiful hill country. An ideal location for families, couples, walkers, cyclists and photographers. The campsite is within a few minutes walk of the popular market town of Bishop’s Castle. Separate areas for touring caravans/motor caravans and tents. Comfortable bunkhouse for walkers and long distance cyclists. Modern toilet/shower block. One static van and one chalet available to rent throughout the year for a week or weekend. Bunkhouse available daily. Situated on the long distance Shropshire Way and within easy reach of the Offa’s Dyke path.
People 13 years and over £6 per night, people less than 13 years £2 a night. Bunkhouse £10 a bed or £40 for the whole bunkhouse. Please bring your own bedding/cooking facilities. Well behaved dogs £1. Sorry no pets in chalet.

Walcot Hall Caravan Park is situated behind the Powis Arms at the bottom of the drive to Walcot Hall in the village of Lydbury North, 3 miles from Bishop's Castle. The caravan site has 12 electric hook-ups and a large, newly built, heated amenity block with showers, toilets, washing machines, dryers and chemical disposal point. Disabled facilities.
Caravans and tents £5 per person per night. Electric hook-ups £5, children under 5 free, children under 16 half price (£2.50). The local pub/restaurant and the village shop are walking distance and there is fishing and riding available locally. Dogs allowed. Closed November to February inclusive. As a member of the Tranquil Touring Parks Group, we are an adult only site, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings, with lovely views of the Camlad valley.
All 83 pitches are fully serviced and include hardstanding, water, electric, grey waste disposal and TV hook up. Our award winning shower and toilet facilities have been increased with the building of a new toilet and shower block. The large fenced-in dog walk and pitch and putt course are always popular.
Tariffs per night are from £18 - £25, Free Wi Fi available.

We are six miles from Bishop’s Castle and 16 miles from Shrewsbury in an ideal place for walking, biking, horse riding fishing, hang-gliding and paragliding. Each pitch is available with electric hook up and free barbecue. Self contained cubicle showers and separate washing up facilities with hot and cold water. Pets welcome, free of charge!
Caravans, motor homes, trailer tents and 2 person tents £20.50 inclusive of 2 adults and electricity. Additional charges for extra adults, children over 3, day guests and awnings. Open March to January. AA 2 Flags.
