Visitors are able to enjoy the romance of camping without the stress of pitching a tent and enduring the “Great British Weather”. Known by its nickname of “Glamping”, the appeal of our camping pods and railway carriage is that it is essentially camping, but without the tent.  South Shropshire’s first locally built Camping Pods and re-conditioned railway carriage are available for visitors to enjoy at The Kings Head located in the centre of our delightful market town.
Both the pods  and the railway carriage have an internal floor space of 8’ 0” x 9’0” and can sleep up to four adults comfortably. Each unit has been insulated to enable them to keep warm in the colder months and cool in the warmer months as well as benefitting from mains electricity providing a small wall mounted heater, two double sockets and lighting. Within the site there is a separate block providing a ladies and gentlemen’s toilet and a communal shower room.
Pods & railway carriage available all year round at £35 per night based on two people sharing. There is an additional £5 per person, per night, for any extra people.
This tariff maybe subject to change. All major credit cards accepted
