Rail
The nearest railway station is
at Craven Arms, 12 miles away. Often just asking people who
get off may result in a lift. Craven Arms has several taxi
services (Arms Cabs 01588 672734 / 07969693112) - list on
station platform.
Welshpool and Newtown
both have stations but are further away. Most people get the train to Shrewsbury
and then the bus.

Shropshire Hills Shuttle Buses: The Shuttles are 16-seater mini-buses which provide easy access into the Shropshire Hills. The Secret Hills Shuttle route is now a circular ride between Craven Arms, Clun and Bishop's Castle, and is running every Saturday and Bank Holiday weekends. The Long Mynd & Stiperstones Shuttle remains the same 'figure of eight' circuit and will run every weekend and Bank Holiday Monday, as in previous years.
From Bishop’s Castle use the 552/553 bus service (Bishop‘s Castle – Shrewsbury) to Plox Green (a Request stop), Minsterley or Pontesbury to link with the The Long Mynd & Stiperstones Shuttle.
