Christmas Party in the Public Hall is for under 8 year old's and is from 4 to 5 p.m. and 6.30 to 7.30 p.m.  Santa will also be there during these times.

Childrens party with Magic Show and Flea Circus in the Public Hall 3-00 ‘til 5-00. Cost is £3.00 per child which includes party tea, magic show and presents from a visit by Santa. Hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies are on sale to parents.

Childrens poster competition winner will be the celebrity switching on the lights.

Road closure 5 p.m to 7 p.m.Union/Station St. Cross Roads. High Street and Salop St. Late night Shopping

Lantern procession up the hill – marshalling at 5-30, after the xmas party

4 big trees - 1 in the Six Bells Pub courtyard, 1 on the corner of Church st. and Union st. and 1 half way up the hill switched on as the lantern procession passes. Final tree in Salop St. old square.

Lights switch on at 6-00 and carols round the tree with BC orchestra. Entertainments also include hog roast in the Boar's Head Yard, All day christmas Music workshop at The Castle Hotel with a public performance in the bar at 4.30pm, Flea Market in the Town Hall and Craft Market at St.John's Church and the Six Bells Lounge.

ALSO There is also a lantern workshop taking place on Saturday 26th November in The Church Barn, Bishop's Castle from 2 to 4pm.
